How we handle your information

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Who we are

This website is run by FocusWize (“FocusWize”, “we”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through it.

To contact us about privacy: use our contact form.

What we collect through this website

  • Enquiry form: your name, work email, organisation, role (optional), the topic you choose and your message.
  • Spam protection: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, kept for 60 seconds to limit repeat submissions.
  • Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and maintenance.

How and why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you and to discuss the services you asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.

Cookies and tracking

This website’s design does not set cookies or use tracking or analytics. Fonts are hosted on our own site, so no information is sent to font providers. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the website and email, acting on our instructions. We share information with others only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, and then delete them.

Client engagements

Information gathered during an engagement, such as anonymised survey responses, is covered by the written terms agreed with the client organisation, not by this website notice.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will update this notice if the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
